A minimum of 10% of all purchases of Oscar's Diaries, Life as a Retired Greyhound, will be donated to the Greyhound Health and Wellness Program, run by Guillermo Couto, DVM, dip. ACVIM, at the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Couto's team is doing amazing research into the treatment of cancer in greyhounds. However, this can carry over to children eventually, as there are many similarities between osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in greyhounds and in children. You can read about the program here.
